Welcome to the Popes' Museum in Grande-Anse. It is my pleasure to welcome you to the only museum deicated entirely to the papacy in North America. The Roman Catholic faith being closely linked to the Acadian people we have desired to show the rich spiritual and artistic heritage of this religion. The exibits on display will provide you with an overview of the history of the papacy and the considerable artistic works associated with it. From the scale model of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican to the beautiful gothic chalices you will enjoy a pleasant journey through time.

The Shippagan Aquarium and Marine Centre is the largest public aquarium in Atlantic Canada. Here you will discover an unsuspected number of fish and invertebrate species, who live in the gulf of St. Lawrence, and in the lakes and rivers of eastern Canada. Shapes and variety are everywhere, like for example, our fascinating collection of blue lobsters, which will simply amaze you.
